  1. Hey Quaid! My name is Miss McCormick from Wigram Primary School, the blogging committee and I thought that we would come on and have a look at some of your work that you guys have been doing over at Hornby and WOW! It looks like you have been doing some pretty amazing work. I think that learning about recent things that we can relate to is awesome, because we have some prior knowledge about it and that means that we already know something about it! Having a video, like in your blog post, is supporting what you have already written and it gives something visual for the reader to look at as well! I was pretty nervous about Cyclone Gita as well, but you and your family were steps in front of me because I didn't even have a survival kit! I think next time i'll be coming to stay with your family! :)
I think next time it would be great to see if you can find a news video or article that relates to your writing about the Christchurch area!
Well done on your hard work Quaid!

  2. Hi Quaid

I really liked your writing and I thought it was cool that you were writing about a recent event. As much as I liked your writing I think you could put a little more detail into what happened to all the country's that got hit by Gita and think a little bit more about your spelling.
