I am a student at in Uru MÄnuka. In 2020 I was a year 7 and in 2021 I will be a year 8. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.
To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something helpful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Hi there Odin! My name is Susie and I am one of the Blog Commenters who will be commenting on your blog throughout the Summer Learning Journey this year. I hope you are as excited as I am.
ReplyDeleteI love the slide you have created online - Not only it shows me three interesting facts about our country but it tells me a little bit about yourself! It is amazing that you speak two languages and you should always be proud of that. I personally speak two languages as well because I was born in Korea. With that being said, you probably would have guessed it by now but I speak Korean and English!
My favourite subject at school has always been art. Maybe that's why I love to paint, draw, craft and design up to this day. What is your favourite thing to do during your free time?
Do you have a favourite nature spot in Christchurch that you love to visit? If so, let me know so I can add it on to my Bucket list :)
It is pretty interesting that New Zealand is home to several species of lizard but not a single snake, right? We used to have snakes in the forest behind my apartment that I used to live in Korea.. YIKES. Now I am lucky enough to say that I live on a land free of snakes!
I hope you will have lots of fun blogging during summer Quaid, I look forward to viewing much more of your amazing posts :) Ka Kite
Hi Quaid,
ReplyDeleteI hope you have had an awesome Christmas and you are enjoying your holidays. I am looking forward to coming back and see you all in February and hearing all about it.
I am also pretty happy that there aren't any snakes in New Zealand, they are one of the things in the world that I am really frightened of. Are there any animals or creatures that you are scared of?
I hope to see some more Summer Learning Journey blog posts from you soon Quaid.
Emma :)
