Amazing I Movie

Hi guys welcome back to another blog post.




Today I am going to share with you a blog post about what my reading group has been doing in my class. I have been doing an I Movie about mars. The reason we done a I Movie about mars was because we have been learning about should we move to mars or stay on our planet that we are currently living on. At the moment in our reading we have been learning to not be scared to talk up. To do this we need to follow these goals.



I am learning to ...

• ask questions before, during, and after.
• I synthesise new information from the text. This means matching information in the text to my own ideas to make my ideas stronger and more solid.
• find and explain cause and effect relationships.
• Here is some evidence to show what I have been learning about.

 We had to get a buddy and I picked my friend Tom. The reason I picked Tom is because we get on together really well and he is fun to work with.We spent a week doing this and we are really proud of what it has turned out like.

Tom thought that we could move to mars to live but I disagree with tom and we should stay on this planet because we are fine and we are safe. Weekly Word

Welcome back to another blog post. Today I am going to be sharing with you my topic which is Dance,Drama and Music these three thing are called performance arts. I have got a document for you.

We had to research what is dance and we had to get five different dances that we liked and put them in a google drawing. We also had to pick one particular dance that we enjoyed and made a sentence up of why you like it and what it is about. So here is a picture of my drawing.

Crystals

Hi guys welcome back to another blog post.

Today I am going to show you what my learning has been about crystals. To form a crystal you need space water and time. At the moment at school we have been making our own crystals out of pipe cleaners,Borax and hot water these are really easy to make and you can make them different colours.


I really enjoyed learning about crystals and maybe you would if you gave it a try it is really easy and really fun to make so give it a shot and see what happens it might turn out good and it might turn out not so good but it still OK. My writing

Hi guys welcome back to another blog post.

Today I am going to share with you a piece of my writing. I have been working on this for a while and I have been learning about 5 senses which are Feel,Smell,Taste,emotions and Hear.We have been learning to describe not tell in our narratives and in our writing. I have been working really hard on this and this piece of writing is about my dog that I have just got. 2. The door slammed behind me as I ran as  fast as I could to see my dog. But then I realised that my dog had been taken I tasted the fear in my mouth. The dog's favourite dog toy was a doll that said I love you with two kisses. The dog that I have been living with had been a really rare dog and I didn't know what I was going to do without it. I don’t know how someone would be able to get into my house it is impenetrable.

Maths Working

Hi guys welcome back to another blog post.

 Today I have got a blog post about what we are learning to do about maths. In our maths unit we have been working about measuring. What we have been looking at also is shapes and 3 D shapes and what it is. If you didn't no what unit is, it is a group of something like length and width.


They are standard unit a non standard unit is something that is not normal and that you might not use to do measuring with like a pencil.

 Our teacher gave us a challenge of stuff in our class to measure and we all done it. The first on that we had to measure was the length of the couch, The length of the couch was 1 metre and 27 cm.


The next one that we had to measure was the width of the piano which was 25 cm.


the last one that we had to do is the width of the book shelf in a non standard unit. For my non standard unit I used a Chromebook and it ended up being l Chromebook width. It took a couple of trials and errors but I learnt to never give up and I got it.
