biathlon

Yesterday, Wednesday March 14th we all dis our biathlon at school. I competed in the Year 5 Boys team. I had brought my Bike to school to ride in the biathlon. We had to ride around our court 4 times and run around our field 2 times. Out of the boys I had came 5th place. I was really proud of myself because there were heaps of boys competing in the race. My Mum came to watch me race and took some great photo's of me biking and running. She was proud of me. Here is a video of me trialing the biathlon again please do not hesitate to comment. Awesome DLO

Hi guy's
today I have done another DLO if you didn't know what a DLO is it is a digital learning object this DLO is standard written form using addition this strategy  is an old strategy so it was fun to learn and I think you guy's we learn it pretty quickly. my fabulous diorama

Finally I have finished my diorama after 9 weeks of doing it with my friends Khaylanie,Tom and me. We worked so hard together to get this finished and now that we have finally finished it looks amazing. We worked so hard to finish this with only 6 materials. We used cotton balls, hot glue, colored card, clay and match sticks with no red end. Here is my photo.

First DLO of the year

Hi guys this is my first DLO of the year. This was my first DLO  of the year that I did was W.A.L.T solve subtraction problems using place value to partition numbers. It was A fun DLO but I really hard DLO hope you enjoy this video.

Cyclone Gita

Cyclone Gita hit somoa,Tonga and new Zealand. Tonga got hit the worst by Cyclone Gita. Me and my dad got a we bit worried so we filled our water tank up to the top and put a tap in the middle of the tank so we could get some water out of it is a 5 gallons of water. Me and my mum went out to get a survival kit.cyclone gita didn't hit Hornby hard but in town river got over fulled. Here is a video of Nelsons flooding. Please do not hesitate to comment.:)  

kicking of the year

Today is my first post of the year what I enjoyed this week was hanging out with my friends and my teachers. We have three brand new people that are in our class. They are pretty cool people one of them is my friend. The best part of the year that I am looking forward to is winter sports because I like playing rugby. 

I like going swimming because its a good time to catch up with my friends. 

I enjoyed watching Elgrego the fabulous magician. I loved all of his tricks. My favourite trick was when he made someone float in the air. I liked the trick where he popped the bird out of the painting. He had an awesome helper Ben.

I enjoed watching elgregoe the magician all up I think he is the best magician in the world ple do not hesitate to comment.

On Tuesday the 28th of November we had athletics day I was involved with these activities Shotput,Discus,Long distance (running), Sprints, High jump and long jump. I think I done well in these activities and I was proud of myself because I had awesome results with my running. My favorite part of the day was my running because I love running and I am fit.
